Hi!  I’m Maria.

I’m a Pilates teacher, and I started The Movement Shop after leaving a stable corporate job… because I couldn’t ignore the feeling anymore. On paper, everything made sense. In my body, it didn’t. I needed to move: literally, metaphorically, emotionally. I needed a life that felt like mine. I needed to Move.Change.Heal.

The Movement Shop is for women navigating change; physically, emotionally, and in all the in between seasons that don’t fit neatly into a before and after story. Here you’ll find graphic tees, tanks, cozy layers, and everyday goods like mugs, journals, stickers, and totes. 

Movement is the through line in everything I make. Sometimes it looks like Pilates. Sometimes it’s a walk, a deep breath, a hard conversation, or choosing yourself one small step at a time. I don’t believe in perfection here. I believe in progress, practice, and coming back to your center (sometimes again and again and again).

You’ll also find a Cause Collection, designs rooted in care, community, and the belief that we rise together. When something is tied to giving back, I’ll always be clear about where the support is going.
